Anti-AQP11 antibody product available
The AQP11 antibody product available family of membrane proteins is a group of integral, membrane-spanning channels that facilitate the transport of water across biological membranes along an osmotic gradient. In humans there are 13 AQP isoforms (AQP0-AQP12) described and ten of them, including AQP11, are associated with the aquaglyceroporins subfamily which also transport glycerol, urea and other small neutral solutes in addition to water. AQP11 is found in renal epithelial cells, red blood cell membranes and brain astrocytes.

AQP11 is characterized by the presence of NPA boxes, which are characteristic for these types of transporters. We found that AQP11 mRNA was significantly lower in luteinized GCs obtained from women with PCOS than from women without it. Moreover, AQP11 mRNA was positively correlated with LHR expression and negatively correlated with StAR expression.
